times press us from all sides: wars, fear, diseases, price increases,
division, lies, people catching colds... and we run after news until we
lose our peace. But let us be careful: the turmoil of the world must not
enter our soul. Now is when our faith is shown, not when everything is
going well. Let us put in more prayer and less panic, more fasting and
less judgment, more charity and less stinginess. Fasting is not only
changing food, but also stopping evil from our mouths, thoughts and
actions. And when we no longer know where to turn, let us run to the
Mother of God with a humble heart. She does not promise us life without a
cross, but she helps us not to fall under it. Let us not lose hope...
