We have a new saint, St. Eumenios Saridakis. Glory to God for all things!
When
the Elder (Fr. Eumenios Saridakis and a group of his spiritual
children) visited the London Zoo, the Elder found himself in front of an
Indian tiger, acting very furious, and everyone stood back at a big
distance.
Father Eumenius approached it and began to say to it:
"Tiger, tiger, my tiger, calm down my tiger" and he would cross her with his hand.
Then the tiger put both legs forward and bowed its head as if repenting, three times.
And he calmed down.
The people watching from afar shouted:
- Father, Father, excellent!
